Along the trail
What relieves bee stings, settles the stomach, or calms the nerves? Which plants repel insects? Which herbs are known for reducing fevers? Which plants can be eaten in the wild?
Take a walk with Master Herbalist Jonathan Hover and learn about the folklore, medicinal traditions, and cooking applications for indiginous plants of the western US. Each walk is catered to the participant's interests. If you want to know how to find ingredients for teas, fast relief for insect bites, or which plants are used in tinctures and salves, let Jonathan know, and he will tailor the walk for you.
