2008 Residency
In March 2008, Artsmith hosted a week-long residency for eight writers, artists, and scholars.
The following talented artists were selected by an independent Peer Review Panel:

The residency took place at Kangaroo House Bed and Breakfast, a
1907 craftsman built from field rocks and lumber from Orcas Island. The B&B is within walking distance of the
charming town of Eastsound. The island village has bookstores, cafes with Internet access, shops, galleries, yoga, fitness
facilities, massage, spa, hardware store, art supplies, and outstanding restaurants.
